Back-To-School Clothing Haul

Last summer, I donated a majority of my wardrobe to charity and urgently required winter apparel. Additionally, since I started engineering college in January and owned nothing warm to trudge around campus in, I needed to go shopping – stat! Hence this (slightly belated) post! A collective haul of clothing to combat chilly weather, and to brave the new semester. After all, nothing like new clothes to feel more courageous, right?

Unfortunately, since this is a collective haul accumulated over time, some of these items are no longer available in stores. However, I have linked some similar pieces throughout.

First up is this slouchy gray shirt with cream lace detailing down the sleeves. It has a sweatshirt feel to it and is incredibly easy to throw on with either skinny jeans or jeggings. I have paired it with a cream puffy vest before, and the combination works very well.

White Cardigan

Next is this ivory cardigan that has subtle gold shimmer woven throughout. It is cozy enough to layer for the winter, but light enough to wear during the spring over a tank top. I discovered that white cardigans look quite elegant when worn with colorful scarves.

I found this top at Costco of all places! A multi-functional piece – it would be nice as a business-style shirt for interviews, or tucked into jeans.

This very top has been featured by fashion bloggers on Instagram so many times that I just knew I had to own it. It would look perfect with a pair of deep red ankle pants, a black blazer, and flats!

Blue floral print is such a rare occurrence, and I happen to love it. I was delighted when I found this blouse. It is floaty and comfortable, but at the same time polished and chic.

By happy circumstance, I chanced upon another blue floral print shirt! The burnout-print is made of a soft velour material. The shirt itself is tiered so I found it to be flattering when worn.

Lastly is this – surprise – blue shirt (what can I say? Blue is my favorite color!) What makes this shirt so unique is the envelope hem, which actually makes my legs look slimmer. The crochet details and metal grommet embellishments also make this shirt stand out!

That completes my haul! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. As for me, it is back to the homework grind haha.
