Some posts prior, I had mentioned organizational mobile device apps. On that topic, I thought it would be helpful to categorize my most-used apps and provide a list of recommendations. Honestly, it never ceases to amaze me just many operations these gizmos can perform, especially considering how miniscule they are.
Anyway, here are a few of my current favorite applications that I use on a daily basis (I use an iPhone, by the way; I am sure most of these apps are available for Android users as well):
Last summer, I donated a majority of my wardrobe to charity and urgently required winter apparel. Additionally, since I started engineering college in January and owned nothing warm to trudge around campus in, I needed to go shopping – stat! Hence this (slightly belated) post! A collective haul of clothing to combat chilly weather, and to brave the new semester. After all, nothing like new clothes to feel more courageous, right?
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things.
Throughout the years, I have curated a compilation of songs which managed to capture my heart, meticulously committing every lyric to memory. When I watched “The Sound of Music” at age seven, I was immediately smitten with the storyline, and especially this song. This song can warm you from the inside out – a hot bowl of chicken soup on a rainy day (or in the movie’s case, a torrential thunderstorm). My mom and I both memorized the lyrics and we would have singing marathons together – ah, those were the days! Recently I have caught myself humming the tune and was struck with a sudden idea. I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite things.
